1. Scrub away the dead skin on your lips with a damp toothbrush then follow up with an all natural lip balm like Delish Naturals Pucker.
2. Dab a small amount of olive oil and sugar onto your lips and use your finger to work the mixture into your lips to exfoliate and hydrate.
3. You can also take an even more gentle approach to exfoliating your lips by applying a lip balm, then wiping it away with a sot, dry cloth.
4. Use a tinted lip balm like Burt's Bees to get a little bit of color while keeping your lips hydrated instead of a dry lip stick or sticky gloss.
5. Don't lick your lips. The final tip I have for keeping your lips soft and smooth this winter is to avoid licking your lips a lot. It really dries out your lips and further irritates them.

I swear by Burt's bees! I use it a couple times a day :)
